We thought this one was well worth sharing. Here is a video created by the America Advertising Federation of Greenville SC to promote the Addy awards which parodies Apple’s “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC commercial”. Its humor drives home the point that even with all the technological advancements of online marketing and the promise of social marketing, print marketing still not only delivers value but unbeatable value. Catalog and Direct Mail generate 2nd and 3rd response rates after telemarketing; More than 1 in 5 households made a purchase in response to a direct mailing in 2008.
 
Humor aside, what we can forget is how important it is to integrate multiple forms of media in any marketing campaign. Studies show that 67% of online activity is driven by offline activity; 39% of users pointed online due to an offline activity make a purchase. It’s all about results and marketers report today an average of 35% improved effectiveness of multi-channel campaigns vs. single media campaigns.
